Building Character
For many of our young people they only have celebrities to observe and pattern their lives after. Sandra Humphrey’s new book Dare to Dream presents 25 ordinary people who accomplished extraordinary things. While celebrities are only interested in fame and image the people she writes about were focused on character and service. The role models in Dare to Dream provide a “north star” that brings meaning and purpose to young people. Kids will be challenged by Dare to Dream to avoid the chameleon mentality of living for yourself to focusing your life on others.
