Comfort Zone
The “comfort zone” is used to help children get away from everyone
else, to gather their own thoughts, to relax. We set our “comfort zone”
up under a desk in our room that we do not use. We put a bean bag chair
and some pillows for comfort and softness and hung pictures on the wall
around it. Some kids have brought pictures from home to put under
there. It is also important to hang a sign that shows only one person
at a time in the “comfort zone”. Our signs looks like this: (on a
large note card)
Comfort Zone
