People need Reminders More than to be Informed.

Here’s a great new Teacher Tool!

In my seminars over the years I’ve talked about the importance of kids needing reminders more than they need to be informed. For those of us that have worked in the school system a number of years we’ve discovered Parents Need Reminders as well. I Ran across this new application Sign up Genius where your staff can create any kind of a sign up list, using your own school logo,  from Back to School conferences, Parent Conference Meetings, Mutual Goal Setting Conferences, parent volunteer days. They have 431 sample Sign Up Sheets at their site or you can build your own sign up sheets to meet your specific needs  with your school logo. There’s even a function to let participants swap places on the list.

Here’s what I really like : Once on the list People are sent automatic reminders through email or text messages. The school doesn’t need to remind people. You can stay up to date with changing contact information ie phone numbers, email emergency contact information. There’s even a way to collect money for field trips or Programs for After School special program fees.

* Application also available for your Cell Phone.
