This seminar was the revitalization I needed. I have been struggling with a few students this year and it was really bringing me down. Gene’s session reminded me why I became a teacher – because these children need love, guidance, and knowledge. His practical approaches to dealing with not only difficult children but (also) with (the) whole-class issues and social skills was excellent! He is so deserving of being chosen as the National Educator of the Year and I feel privileged to have had this opportunity.
