10 Essential Steps Toward Success

in Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, Secondary Schools / by Gene Bedley
March 5, 2013

1. Accept changes as the norm. Concentrate on becoming a lifelong learner, not one who sees education as the completion of a formal education.

2. Success is a fly in the eye of a frog. Success is more in what you give to others rather than a big bank account. Focus on the right priorities and you will be rewarded monetarily and emotionally.

3. Develop clear rationale and philosophy regardless of the profession you choose. People will highly regard you for clear beliefs. People without beliefs negate almost everything.

4. Develop a list of ten priorities and write them down. Refer to them frequently!

5. Focus your career and life on what works rather than failures.

6. Put all your energy into being for people and strengthening others rather than against people.

7. Place values and ethics at the top of your list. Live an ethical lifestyle focused on respect, compassion, and integrity and you will stand out not only today but in the world of tomorrow.

8. Read about and talk to people who are successful.

9. Make respectful listening your main focus in communication.

10. Honor and acknowledge your creator in all that you do or become!
