10 Step Plan for Violence Prevention

* Make a list of the various forms of violence

* Provide small group discussions about the personal impact of violence on you.

* Conduct weekly research on current TV , Movie viewing and Electronic Board Game participation by charting results.

*Identify the various levels of anger and explore the causes of angry outburst in yourself and others.

* What does the statement “Anything or anybody that can make you angry and keep you angry conquers you!”mean?

* Reduce unpredictable outburst by exploring alternative solutions and strategies to express strong feelings.

* Identify 3 reasons why restraint and self control are essential in developing positive relationships.

* Take time to review the low points in your life as well the high points. Recognize you have a choice to rehearse the events that you chose to.
