1. Float – Children “float” like clouds around the classroom. (Must practice and set expectations.)

2. Freeze – Teacher says “freeze.” Students stop moving and freeze.

3. Friend – The closest person to you is your “friend.” (Only positive facial expressions.)

Now the children are paired up and ready to share ideas, solve problems together, or work together on a project. They are alert and motivated.
