Big Problem – Little Problem
Talk to the students about little problems (ie. someone calls you a name; someone takes your pencil; someone hurts your feelings.) Explain to the students what a big problem would be. Big problems are times when another person hurts you physically or someone threatens you. The teacher deals with big problems. The students work out the little problems by reaching solutions on their own.
