Values in Action!
Energy Responsibility
When you take energy away from a fellow classmate you have a responsibility to
give it back!
1.You put another person down by calling them a name.
Payback-Ask for forgiveness by saying I’m sorry. Saying you’re sorry
means you will not repeat the behavior.
2. Someone laughed at you when you had the wrong answer or made a mistake.
Payback- Design a poster that says “There are no mistakes in life, only
lessons!”
3-You ignored another’s ideas given in the classroom.
Payback- Acknowledge you need to validate others ideas to the student and the
class.
4-Someone says negative things about you to other students.
Payback-Requirement to memorize: The way you treat others is proof of your respect
for yourself.
5-Someone only sees their own side of the story.
Payback-Invite students to stand at one end of your desk across from each other
& describe an object!
Read your students the story “The Seven Blind Mice”
6-Someone gets angry and yells at you.
Payback- Memorize: The first person to raise their fist or their voice is the
first person to run out of ideas.
