Bureau of Education Discipline Seminar Evaluations February 2006

This seminar should be mandatory not only for day cares but (also) for school age (6-8) as well. Gene s style, knowledge and energy is magnificent. His love for kids and teaching is evident in the response he gets from each student. His ethical, moral, and Christian values are a plus and value ti a demoralizing society.

Thank you so much for inspiring me to reach the children that are so difficult to love. I intend to use many non-verbal communication skills. Thank you for all of the anger management strategies. Everything was very enjoyable and so worth the time.

Great ideas to use in my kindergarten class! You were a wonderful speaker and seem like a very warm hearted man. I pray for more teachers to be like you. Hopefully I can inspire my students by using some of your ideas. Thank you!

Gene – You brought an energy and a voice to areas that don t always have the words that children need. You gave me tools that I can use tomorrow (even without having to read the books tonight.)

Thanks much.

He touched my heart! : ) His personal stories were inspiring. This was a fast-paced seminar, and the day flew. Please keep working to bring ethics back into the schools, into our nation, and into our world. I ll do my part too. Loved the anger buster + music. WOW!

I loved all of the ideas. There are so many things I want to use in my classroom. I would love to spend several days with Gene learning more about how he teaches. You can tell he really has a heart for children. I am leaving here inspired to be a better teacher.

I absolutely loved the seminar. It made a difficult topic, working with Difficult Young Children, become so much easier for me. Gene presented all the info., ideas, and activities in a fun and humorous way. The most important thing that he stressed, and I agree, is LOVE. I feel we can all show more of (that) for each other.

What an inspiration — Gene, you have validated many of my same feelings about difficult children, but more importantly you have provided me with some invaluable strategies for assisting these children. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

P.S. I loved the music!
