Character Education Community Survey

Page Preparation

We are exploring the development of a community-education partnership to support character education for our students at Kyrene de la Mirada Elementary School. A number of parents have already provided their preliminary input at a recent community and PTA meetings. This survey is another opportunity for you to express your recommendations regarding the formation of this program.

Please indicate your answers to the questions listed below: The following items of information are important to consider while you answer these questions.

Classroom academic time will not be diminished.

Teachers will receive specific guidance on appropriate techniques for use in public schools.

The cost of the program will be borne by grants and volunteer contributions.

1. Do you want the staff at Mirada to provide support for you and your child by developing a plan to emphasize the importance of positive character qualities in our society?
