Clip Classroom Management Procedure

in Elementary Schools, Primary Schools / by Gene Bedley
February 3, 2013

One way to reinforce all students for their responsible choices in a classroom is to reinforce responsibility when it happens.

Implementation Procedure for Clip Classroom Management.

1-All children have pins with name or number written on the pins.

2-All pins are clipped to white board for start of the day. Place blue and green cards 8-1/2×11 to the right of the white card and yellow and red to the left side of the white card.

3-When kids make responsible choices they move to the right on the green card first and the blue card next which shows they are making responsible choices.

4- When kids make inappropriate choices they move their clips to the left of the white center card showing they are not making responsible choices.

5-All clips can be moved at one time or individually. Celebrate responsible choices when pins move to the right.
