kids everywhere. It was during “Angie’s” participation in one of Gene Bedley’s seminars on the 12 benefits of Character Development that the Santiago Staff was introduced to Miss Hawaii. Angela P Baraquio’s platform

for her Miss America competition is Character Education. The 24 year old decided to compete for a 3rd time for Miss Hawaii so that her students she was challenging to persevere would learn from her example. Boy what an example.

The 24 year old said she plans to promote Character Education during her yearlong reign. After mentoring “Angie” in

Character Education Gene Bedley said, “She will be one of the most influential Miss America’s ever” “Angie has tremendous depth and purpose to make a major difference throughout America and the world”.
