When students in my class want to tattle I ask them to write their tattle in my “Official Report” Book (A construction paper cover with plain paper inside). Half the students forget why they were tattling once they are busy concentrating on sounding out words and the other half of the class would rather get back to having fun than take time out to fill out a report. Before you know it, nobody is tattling!
