I have a bear in my classroom whose name is “Mr. Tittle-Tattle.” When the children are going to tattle I remind them about our friend Mr. Tittle-Tattle who’s ready to hear it! (I remind the kids about what tattling is. Did it hurt you? Your property? Someone else? Someone else’s property?)

Now the children go directly to the bear instead of tattling to me.
