Meeting Classroom Behavior Standards

The Clapper!

You can purchase a clapper which is a noise activated switch that you can have in your classroom.

1-Plug it into the electrical outlet and plug a large wall clock into the clapper switch.

2- Set a classroom goal such a a special event, puppet show, game or something the kids really like.

3- Determine the amount of time the class needs to accumulate in order for the class to participate in the classroom goal set.

4-When the class performs to the behavior standards you specify, the clock accumulates time. When the kids misbehave clap twice which turns the switch off.

5- You’ll have your total class working toward your behavioral goals at the clap of your hands.

The Clapper responds to sound sensory reception and will control up to two appliances . The Clapper will turn ON or OFF two devices when activated by the sound of your clap. It fits into any standard power outlet and will accept connections of any 2 devices you want to control. It comes with two outlets, one that is set to activate on two claps and the other to activate on three claps. Simply plug in one appliance to the two clap outlet and another appliance into the three clap outlet.
