Turning Points
Discovering the moments, events and people that turn lives around create
people of impact. Why is it that some people fully believe they have the
power to change lives and impact others while others continually
describe situations as hopeless, unattainable and look for the excuses
that prevent us from making a significant difference!
“6Cs that contribute most to turning people into people of Impact”
1. Cause – One of the most powerful motivators is to find a need
or a vacuum and fill it . A cause helps people go beyond them self and
develop a focus on others.
2. Convictions – If you don’t identify what you fundamentally
believe in you are perceived as one who negates and doubts. For example:
If you truly believe that each person is inherently capable and
valuable, you will be able to help even the most challenged person succeed.
3. Crisis – A major turning point that changes people is when an unexpected event occurs in their lives. It creates an indelible mark and point in history that changes their life forever. Crisis forces us to reach deep within and around for strength and insight to face each test.
4. Covenant – Signing your name on a contract, making a public statement in the Newspaper, signing a Character Covenant, or making a vow not to take drugs with your peers in assembly establishes a
commitment that measures your Integrity

5. Catalyst – Having your picture taken with a prominent person or a well known Celebrity you admire and respect as a role model establishes a definite turning point and freezes a moment in time you can refer to forever.
6. Contribution – A “purpose driven life” is based on fulling our mission in life. If we come to the end of our life and we fail to fulfill our purpose we miss life’s greatest reward.
We are far more in Potential than what we are in Reality!
