10 Things Responsible Students Do When Assignments Are Completed!
1. Edit work and show the teacher a rough draft.
2. Select a book or finish reading a book checked out of the library.
3. Use the Word Processing program on the computer.
4. Use the Internet to research a topic for a school report.
5. Write Weekly Goals: Include Goals in the following areas:
a. Academic
b. Relational
c. Personal
6. Write what I learned from yesterday in my “Yesterday Journal.”
7. Assist the teacher with a special project.
8. Mentor another student in a specific skill.
9. Write a paper entitled “What do I want out of math, reading, or school.”
10. Design a new “What to do when you’re finished …” chart for the class.
