Difference between a Hero and a Celebrity

in Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, Secondary Schools / by Gene Bedley
March 5, 2013

Many of the greatest hero’s of all time knew that Fulfillment is not equal to personal Gratification. Each individual faces a constant struggle between immediate gratification and morality. The question we’re faced with is “What is the right thing to do?”

A Hero’s purpose is always beyond their own self interest. They have always been concerned about others. They recognize that love is Sacrificial. It cost them their time, energy and their personal finances. Marriages stay together and relationships work because the individuals recognize the importance of making sacrifices for each other.

Who are your Hero’s?
